Slinky Worm Fishing Lure 20ct 6.5

Our 6.5" Slinky Worm is the perfect "Trick Worm" for shaky head fishing. It uses our super soft, super buoyant plastisol, which keeps the tail standing up vertically as it's worked along the bottom. Even in a resting position, the bulbous tail will slowly undulate, eliciting the strike. We use a very low resin plastisol, making the worms much softer and more supple. This allows each worm to float, gives the worm better action, and allows better hook penetration when rigging.

Rigging is best done with a Shaky Head. We recommend using a 7' Medium Light extra fast tip, 12lb braid to a 6 or 8lb fluorocarbon leader, and a 1/4oz Shaky head jig. After casting the bait out, let it fall on semi slack line until it hits the bottom, then slowly drag the bait back, keeping contact with the bottom at all times. Periodically stop the bait and shake the rod tip, making the bulbous tail of the bait undulate and flutter as it stands up at a 70 degree angle off the jig head. Additional rigging options include Texas, Carolina, Shaky Head, EWG, Weightless, Dropshot, Wacky, Neko, Free Rig, and Trailer.

The durability of the worms is low, averaging 1-3 fish per bait. Each worm is 6.5" in length and designed with a flat bottom and a ribbed top. It features an egg sack about 2" into the bait and a ribbed, bulbous tail. Our baits are heavily scented with our Phat Juice, a combination of Craw, Leech, and Shad. They do not contain salt and are designed to float.
